What is this plant that has grown from wild bird seed.?
After a winter of constant bird feeding I have in my garden a quite large bushy plant that has grown as a result of spilled seeds. It is mid green and its leaves are very like a cannabis plant although I know its not one of those. I would look on the seed packet if I still had it but can't remember which brand it came from. Any ideas please?. Its a most pleasing looking thing and has grown to about 3and half feet all round very quickly. Thanks and regards.
I don't know what it could be from the description. But I can tell you that when I was a kid you could buy Cannabis seed at the feed store for bird food. We raised pigeons for racing and eating as well as show. They loved the stuff. The Cannabis ( Hemp ) seed was sterilized with heat though so it would not grow. I don't know if it is still allowed or not. If it is though it could be possible that some of the seeds were not cooked long enough.
