Any way to be happy for a couple being married when you are not allowed that right yourself?
My brother is getting married today to a woman and I am just really finding it difficult to just be happy for them when the whole time I am just feeling sad and angry that I don't have the right to marry myself. I'm trying to stay positive and ignore it but it's just being smearing in my face it seems. 
They don't support gay marriage btw... probably important to mention that.
You need to just take a breath. It will be ok. I know right now it seems like they are trying to smear it in your face, but really they are just legally becoming bonded. That is all it is. One day we will have the same right they do to get married. But honestly they are not trying to hurt your feelings, just imagine the day when you will have your big gay wedding. I'm sure as hell going to have me one!
Even if I have to go to a different place to do it!
