Is there a weekend retreat where you could complete first communion and confirmation requirements?
We're planning on getting married in October 2008 and I need my First Communion and Confirmation, my fiance needs to do her Confirmation. We also need to complete pre-marital counseling. Please help!
Well, if you are getting married through church you should have already discussed this with the priest that is going to marry you. This is something they ask you in the begining before they even set a date. When I had to make my confirmation, it took me a few months to do it. You really need to ask your priest. I dont know if you speak spanish or not, but I was told that if you go to Tijuana you can do it in a day or so. Catholic churches vary but I know when I did the counseling it went on for quite a few months and we had the weekend retreat about two months before the wedding. I dont really know what else to tell you but to go and see your priest as soon as possible. Good luck to you!!!
