what gadgets do animators use when they draw?
i often see it on tv like for example, pixar. they demo how to draw a cartoon character and they are using a pen not stylus and they draw it into a mousepad like thing...and the images are automatically seen on the pc as how they draw it..
i wanna use it too.. lol.. for photoshop or for any other graphic purposes.. like animation too...
no, they are not using graphic tablets... they draw it on to a pad somewhat like a mousepad too.. and they use a wired pen.. not a stylus
oh ok... is it recommendable for photoshop users? like for brushing,smudging,cutting,etc?
I am in the industry. It is a Stylus Pen and on a Wacom Tablet. This will run from $400 to $800. It is so worth it. I use it everyday. I can't stand a mouse anymore.
Don't get anything smaller than 8 X 6. This is the size I like the best!
You could also get a Cintiq....but that is very expensive. You can draw right on the computer screen with the stylus. I find your hand can get in the way though. I don't like it. I don't think you can get one for under $1000. The one we have at work is about $5000.
